Advertising on Facebook

Facebook enables its users to create ads. Thanks to such a facility our ad can be deliberately targeted to the users that we are interested in. In comparison to Google AdWords, Facebook Ads has a bigger word limit (65 more) and a picture element. Targetting is realised by selecting the location (country, city), age (13 years and up), sex, keywords, education, relationship status, interests, languages spoken. Furthermore, ads can be dispalyed to people who have their birthday on a chosen day. After designated the target Facebook shows the estimated audience meeting the criteria. The campaign can be accounted in 2 modes: by its efficiency (Cost Per Click) or reach (Cost Per Mile).
